Kiersten Dyke — a content creator who had been candidly documenting her cancer experience with her growing online following — passed away, as confirmed by her partner of many years.
Dominic Cinfio broke the news across his TikTok and Instagram accounts earlier this week, sharing that Dyke took her last breath on April 26.
In an emotional tribute, Cinfio spoke of Dyke as someone truly one of a kind — a person whose presence naturally lit up any space she walked into.
He noted that she was at peace when she passed, and while the loss weighs heavily on him, he finds comfort in knowing she will remain a part of him always.
“I hope I can live even remotely closely to how she did and share her love and strength with others,” Cinfio wrote. “I love you so much boo boo.”
Dyke’s cancer story began in 2022 when a biopsy of a concerning mole returned a stage 2 melanoma diagnosis. From that point, she chose to bring her followers along — documenting both the hard moments and the small victories throughout her treatment.
For a time, things looked hopeful. By January 2024, she was under the impression she had beaten the disease and spent that period seeing the world — only to receive devastating news later that same year that the melanoma had returned and advanced to stage 3 metastatic. She started immunotherapy in early 2025.
Just weeks ago, she disclosed publicly that her medical team had given her only months. As it turned out, even that window of time wasn’t hers to keep.
@kiersten.dyke Thank you Kiersten for taking us on this journey with you. We love you so extremely much and will miss you dearly! Please go to the Facebook group in the bio to share your memories and experiences with Kiersten. We are wanting to celebrate her and the amazing legacy she leaves behind.
On TikTok, Cinfio walked followers through her final days. It began with an ER visit on April 21. Over the days that followed, her health declined steadily. By April 26, she required ventilator support, and complications from sepsis claimed her life before the day was out.
She was 25.
